NPG response to call for evidence | EU Circular Economy Act

14 November 2025

The purpose of the Circular Economy Act is to accelerate the EU’s transition to a more circular economy and increase its economic security, resilience, competitiveness and decarbonisation.  


With the Act due for adoption in 2026, the European Commission launched a consultation and call for evidence in August 2025, to which the Natural Polymers Group submitted its response on 5 November 2026.

TDi Sustainability to provide leadership services to the NPG

TDi's role will be to help the NPG achieve its vision of advancing natural polymers as the mainstream subsitute to plastic across a broad range of everyday applications. TDi will help steer the Secretariat's discussions on reaching group advocacy goals within the waste hierarchy and broader circular economy frameworks.
