With the introduction of a new array of progressive policies like single-use plastics ban, plastic packaging tax, Global Plastics Treaty and Extended Producer Responsibility, a new standard of corporate responsibility and accountability is emerging. The Natural Polymers Group will be the industry voice to help businesses adapt to these changes and enable organisations to join us in driving long-term innovation to tackle the issue of plastic packaging once and for all.

We urge governments around the world to adopt a bold and effective global treaty to end plastic pollution that will support innovation in our sector. By providing clear and consistent policies and incentives, governments can foster innovation and accelerate the adoption of natural polymer solutions that can replace avoidable plastic items.
